Hearing health remains an overlooked issue in Lithuania—hearing is checked infrequently, and patients often face long wait times for appointments. To address this, Audiomedika, together with communication partner Berta&Agency, and in collaboration with Philips Hearing Solutions and the BENU pharmacy chain, installed self-service hearing check stations in three BENU pharmacies in Vilnius and Kaunas.
An integrated communication campaign was carried out over the course of a month to promote this initiative.
This pilot project marked the first of its kind in Europe, offering accessible, self-administered hearing checks directly in pharmacies. Greece became the second country to introduce a similar model later that summer.
As part of a BTL (Below-the-Line) activation, visitors to BENU pharmacies in Vilnius were introduced to the specialized hearing screening devices, learning how to use them and better understand their hearing health.
