To mark Vilnius’ 700th anniversary, a copy of a letter written by Grand Duke Gediminas of Lithuania was brought back to the National Museum of Lithuania—this time with far less effort than when the original letter was first sent in the 14th century.

The delivery of the letter’s replica to Lithuania was supported by international parcel delivery company Venipak, which partnered with the National Museum of Lithuania and its communication partner Berta&Agency for this initiative.

To mark the exhibition, a historically based storytelling project was created in collaboration with well-known Lithuanian TikTok creator Chistorikė (Kristina Petrauskė), bringing to life the journeys of medieval messengers in the 14th century.
