The Lithuanian National Museum introduced its most important exhibition of the year: “A Worldwide Lithuania: Our Migration Story”. The exhibition aims to bring together people living in Lithuania and abroad by presenting the process of Lithuanian migration, depicting the everyday lives of those who experienced it, and highlighting world-class heroes.

Today, more than ever, we are ready to weave a cross-cultural fabric, contribute to the acceleration of society’s growth in values, and strengthen the emotional bond of a nation long known for its unity. The desire to nurture this bond knows no borders—neither geographical nor the still-prevailing opinions that stigmatize migration. When mental borders disappear, they create a Lithuania without physical boundaries—a world-sized Lithuania—which inspired the exhibition’s name: “A Worldwide Lithuania: Our Migration Story”.

Lithuanians are changing the world, and the world is changing Lithuania. That is the message of this exhibition—told through real human stories and a cohesive visual identity.

In line with the exhibition’s theme, we developed an inspiring title and a memorable, widely recognizable visual identity. The visual concept brings together iconic, recognizable objects from around the world, blending them with Lithuanian landmarks. All the elements are arranged in a labyrinth, symbolizing the migration journey—a path of self-discovery and the shaping of our national history.
